My 1st plant - Montana

Suffering from cabin fever I headed out today thinking to do a
little bird watching & to plant my first letterbox. I actually have
several others waiting to go but this was the first one I could
actually get out there given spring weather.

The bird watching wasn't the greatest - migration hasn't really
started yet - but we (dogs & I) did get the box snuggled in at a
nice bird watching location. So a new box for Montana with several
more to follow shortly.

While I was standing there working on my clues something "unnatural"
caught my eye nearby. On investigation I discovered a geocache. I
don't think the geocachers will accidentally discover my box though
Just hope some of you folks coming west for the Lewis & Clark
bicentennial will come by this way & check it out.

And on that note I did some exploring on the way home & found a
great site for another Lewis & Clark related Montana mystery box.
Just got to decide what to carve for a stamp for it. Have two other
mystery boxes ready to go - one L&C related.

Do you think I can get a little money from the state for helping
promote tourism??

The tourism thing is a great idea. Maybe I'll try to do that here in
Connecticut! Planted a box yesterday and by the end of today it will be covered in
snow. Will winter ever end???

Way cool idea - I think there's a good chance it would work in Montana. I
have little hope here in snowy New England. No wonder there's so many boxes
in Connecticut - we're always looking for a reason to get out. Cabin fever
here is considered normal by November, cabin plague generally sets in about
now!

Happy Hunting and Good Luck. I'm looking forward to getting out west with
the fammily.
